Eric Zhang is the founder and Managing Partner of Access China Trade Services Company, LC, an international trading service and consulting company based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, with offices in Shanghai and Beijing. Access China is helping a number of Oklahoma companies succeed in China and gain a competitive edge over their competition.

Eric is a native of Beijing, China and moved to Oklahoma in 2000. Eric has extensive experience in helping American and Chinese do business with each other.  Since 2000, Eric has helped R L Hudson & Company gain competitive advantages by strengthening its supply chain management.  In the process, the company was awarded the honors of Small Business of Tulsa in 2002, and Small Business of Oklahoma in 2003. Eric has also worked with internationally known Zebco, and has been instrumental in implementing strategic investment and operations in China through a series of consulting, training and implementation processes.

Eric is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Tulsa. He has been invited to speak at many professional functions, including the Shanghai Foreign Investment Board, China 21st Century Executive Forum, Oklahoma Governor’s Economic Committee, Oklahoma State University, University of Oklahoma, Oklahoma Central University and the University of Tulsa.  Eric was a member of Governor Henry’s Mission Delegation to China in June, 2004, and US Congressman Istook’s Delegation in November, 2004.

Prior to moving to Tulsa, Eric founded one of the first private management consulting companies in Beijing and grew it rapidly, capturing clients such as Microsoft, Hewlett Packard, Motorola, Electrolux, Dell, and BecktonBecton Dickenson.  His distinguished background includes:

        Over 18 years of helping American and Chinese companies set up joint business operations in China and tremendously grow their business.

        Helped Wal-Mart source in China as early as 1990.

        Grew his own consulting business by nine times within the first three years of operation and developed a marketing theory – “Quality Marketing”, which was published in a series in top Chinese business newspapers and widely accepted by Chinese business executives.

        Eric’s success story has been reported by China Central TV, China Business (top business newspaper in China), Radio Beijing, Central Radio Station (top radio station in China), International Advertisement and other top media in China.  

Eric received his Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology in China, , and management and marketing training from Kellogg School of Management, Northwest University.
